This is from sometime in 1990/91, a legendary tour (supported by Sonic Youth) that would be documented by the incredible "Weld" double album.

And here's Slint doing their faithful version, in some dingy club in Chicago on March 3rd, 1989. They were about 19 at the time, but had already released their Steve Albini-recorded debut, "Tweez", and were in the process of writing their masterpiece, "Spiderland". Not your typical garage band.
